A gracious hostess from Istanbul opens her welcoming doors on Heroes’ Square in Psyrri and greets her guests with traditional sweets, mouthwatering pies, gyuzlemades, and many more delicacies from a truly exuberant lady of the city.

Zoubourlou is a “Confetteria”—as the French-educated residents of Istanbul used to call pastry shops—but it’s also a “Pitaseri,” a play on words that pays homage to the unique handmade pies baked with passion every day. From early in the morning, the space is filled with the aroma of freshly baked delicacies, offering special breakfasts to start the day with flavors that warm the heart.
